PPC or Pay Per Click is a very cost effective and easy way to generate traffic to your website. While Google Adwords is the most popular form of PPC advertising.

  1. Define your keywords. Put yourself in your customers shoes and think what would they type into Google search box and to find your website. Brainstorm as many keywords as possible that related to your service or product.
  2. Sign up a Google Adwords account if you don't already have one.
  3. Create multiple campaign with combination of keywords and different titles and descriptions.
  4. Then let them run for weeks or a month.
  5. Set your daily budget from small amount like $5/day and increase slowly when you get some results.
  6. Compare the click-through rate and conversion rate and eliminate those that don't perform well.
  7. Create more campaigns and repeat the above steps until you get the best campaigns.
